Maze Pursuit is a game I started developing on the 30th of April 2014 and ended development on the 13th of July 2014. This was developed in Java with the libGDX library. For more information on libGDX click here.
Firstly for the programming I used the eclipse IDE. Next for creating all the sprites and graphical related things I used Adobe Photoshop CC. As for the sounds I used two tools, the first being BXFR for all short game sounds I needed like shooting. The second tool was Abundant Music for the main menu tune.
I wanted the game to be cross platform specifically for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and hopefully playable within a web browser. In the end I have only made desktop versions (Windows, Mac, Linux) so the game is not available on other platforms.
I wanted it to be playable on systems with low specifications. There are alot of improvements that could be made performance wise but as long as its played in full screen mode there shouldn't be any major issues.
